The team at CS worked closely with the architect and then construction company HAWKINS on getting the finer details right with this job by providing two site measures at different stages throughout the job to ensure accuracy. CS sent technical representatives to Rotorua to carry out the site measures, providing the construction team with faces to the names and someone to liaise with over any technical detailing.
The fitout called for many different products from the CS range including extra wide cavity sliding X-RayBarrier doors, fully automatic cavity sliders, a customised stacking door set to the reception area, and commercial cavity slider door sets throughout the fit out.
An oversized set of three stacking doors divides up the waiting room area from the reception area when required. The design called for three 1-Lite NewYorker doors to stack up against a fixed panel when fully open and then collect on each other to close. CS designed a 4-TopTrack system that required no floor guides and included anodised head and closing jambs for the doors to recess into. Clear toughened glass allows transfer of light and remains safe for patrons.
