In a recent upgrade to Farm Cove Intermediate School, there was a requirement for large open plan classrooms comprised of smaller rooms that can be converted into one larger room. Waitakere Architects have completed a number of projects on schools in the Auckland area and proposed a set of bi-folding glazed doors meeting two fixed/sliding doors in a ’T’ arrangement.Â
The CS NewYorker pre-finished door leaf was used. The perimeter frame has no visible screws or fastenings and horizontal or vertical rails (if required) have been purpose designed to maintain overall good looks without compromising strength or reliability. Â CS NewYorkers are manufactured in our factory to arrive on-site fully finished. 10.38mm laminate glass helps to reduce sound.
