Deloitte Hamilton

The office fit out of Deloitte Hamilton called for a new product development to ensure the CS NewYorker door worked as effectively as possible within an office fit out. The interior designer wanted to incorporate the NewYorker door with its clean glazing lines and invisible assembly fixings wherever possible throughout the floors offices and meeting rooms. 

To make this transition from a door that normally suits a cavity slider CS FOR DOORS developed a top hung track system that is recessed into the gridded ceiling. This also required a pelmet system that clipped onto the side of the track and provided a leg for the ceiling tile to sit on. The resulting detail created a door system that allows the top of the door to disappear into the ceiling but still have access to adjustment through machined access slots in the pelmet (normally covered by ceiling tiles) for servicing etc.

To finish off the look CS provided hinged and cavity sliding NewYorkers all to the same specification. The overall look is consistent throughout making for an all round eye pleasing place of work.
